In the early summer of 2020 we were approached by ERBN Green, a unique female run cannabis company that was looking to enter the Canadian retail market. With a series of renderings, it was our task to value engineer and keep the clients tight timeline in mind. Our team engineered and fabricated dozens of unique fixtures, within a four week lead-time. This project was completed in house during the COVID-19 pandemic as our staff adjusted to an entirely new set of safety procedures. This marquee cannabis project allowed us to innovate internally, discovering new techniques for custom display cases!
This project included three separate retail locations. A custom sized modular display island was the highlight of this project. A 6ft, 10ft and 12ft island were all produced to create a standard brand identity among their store fixtures.
Additional complimentary fixtures include wall mount display cabinets, floating shelves, nesting tables and apparel racks.
In a tight four week period our production team created these bespoke fixtures that involved a number of different materials and construction techniques. The island fixtures feature a floating glass display case that is mounted from within the structure, engineered to hold the weight of the steel and glass display case.
Each store uses a small number of high impact fixtures to maintain a clean modern look. Their walls are paneled with the same laminate as our fixtures to maintain the aesthetic. With the use of terrazzo and marble on their hard surfaces, the client makes a strong visual impact with limited materials. This marquee project is an example of our work in the cannabis industry. ERBN Green has its first three locations opening in both Toronto and Picton Ontario with plans to expand the brand into British Columbia and the prairie provinces. PragerNuform continues to work with cannabis brands across North America on P.OP display units, store fixtures and retail design.
